Warmer Climates.

As the first month of the year comes to close, and with the Winter Blues in full swing.  Here’s my quick 1,2,3 advice regarding travel and warmer climates this Winter.

1. If you travel by car, and are currently located in a Country that is experiencing SNOW!  Take care on the icy roads.

2. If you are able to, leave the Winter Blues behind you.  Go to the Caribbean, tropics, anywhere that has warmer climates.

3. Stay indoors and re-emerge in the Spring.

What am I doing this Winter? Hibernating at home and re-emerging in the Spring.  Good thing Blogging can be done from home! Just kidding, well sort of.

The Inca Trail.

The Inca trail, in Peru is usually a pretty big tourist attraction. Unfortunately, the recent mudslides have been dominating the news.  Thousands of people were left stranded, it is estimated to be more than 1600.  So far, hundreds have alreday been evacuated, and sadly one killed.

In terms of travel, what a shame the Inc Trail has now become a danger zone for tourists.  It will be quite some time before the trail can be re-opened.  At present, it is going to be very difficult to get people away from the famed tourist attraction.  However, people are being lifted out to safety by helicopters.

What a week to start a travel blog, I was all set to explore the Inca trail tours available.  I think for now I’ll come back to it at a more appropriate time.  Here’s wishing a safe return to all.

Travel Blog.

Hello fellow travel lovers.  Let me introduce myself, I’m A.J., and this is my travel blog, simply named Fantastic Travels Blog.  I am based in London, United Kingdom, have lived here all my life.  I do love travelling, and although I have not travelled much recently.

In the past I have visited Europe; France, Portugal and Spain.  America; Arizona, New York, Philidelphia, and Ohio.  Canada; Ontario and The Caribbean; Antigua, Barbuda, St Maarten and Anguilla.

It seems like quite a bit of travelling, but when I think about how big the World is, perhaps not.  This travel blog is a working hobbie, design to inspire me to travel to many more different Countries all over the World. I looking forward to making it.  I hope you will find my travel blog interesting, informative and fun!
