Italy, it sounds romance doesn’t it? Rome, Naples, venice, and many other Italian destinations have been popular holiday destinations for many years. I’ve never been to Italy, but it’s on my list. If you choose Italy, here are the top three recently most sort after destinations.
Tuscany, known as the true birthplace of the Italian Renaissance. It’s capital being Florence, Italy.
Umbria, is a small Italian region on the border of Tuscany. It’s Capital is Perugia. Umbtia is full of beautiful mountains and hills.
Campania, is a large region of Italy and is very popular. The capital is Naples, which is a popular city in it’s own right.

Las Vegas – Top Resort.
Do you know which Las Vegas Resort was named the Top Resort, and receivec the Five Diamond Award?
The Five Diamond Award has been awarded to The Bellagio Hotel and Casino Complex. The prestigious award is the highest accolade in the industry of hotels and restaurants. It’s triple A rating system which ranks the calibre of hotels and restaurants in Canada, the Caribbean, Mexico and USA.

There are a number of criterias that are considered when attributing the Five Diamond Award to a Hotel or Restaurants. They are; the accommodations, the restaurant, the service provided, the amenities and the printed guidelines for facilities available to the guests. Presumably, the establishmet would have to meet all five criterias. I wounder if a resort could get a 4 out of 5 rating?
The Bellagio.
The Bellagio has won this award before and this year means they have received the award ten years in a row. The Bellagio also has the distinction of two five Diamond awarded restaurants. Julian Serrano’s Picasso and The Le Cirque.
If you were undecided about a top resort in Las Vegas. Perhaps the Bellagio, would suit your needs. The Complex is definite;y one to be consider, and has lots of entertainment for all the family.

Qantas.
Quatas – 90 Years old.
Qantas airline is Australia’s leading Airline and celebrates it’s 90th Year. The airline played host to Hollywood actor John Travolta, who owns and flies his own 747.
Celebrations in Sydney were held on the 6th November. Followed by other events on the 7th November 2010 in Brisbane. Melbourne played host to two special celebrations. One on 13th November 2010 and tomorrow the actual 90th anniversary of Qantas.

The NYC & Company tourism agency have arranged special offer discounts at Hotels in New York. These special offers will be available at hotels in Brooklyn, the Bronx, Manhattan, Queens and Staten Island.
Cheaper Hotels For 2011.
During January and February 2011, discounts of up to 25% off room rates will be available all over the city. This is fantastic news for anyone wanting to hit New York for the January sales. I know in the UK people literally wait for this time of year, just to get the sales in New York. When they learn they can travel to New York for cheaper hotels. They’re sure to be excited.

Singapore.
Singapore – Has Best Restaurant.
According to the “Miele Guide”, Singapore has the best place to eat in Asia. A restaurant called Iggy’s, the “Miele guide”, surveys all of Asia’s culinary expertise. Over 400 restaurants were consider in 17 different Asian Countries.
“L’Atelier de Joel Robuchon”, based in Hong Kong was voted the second best restaurant. While “Robuchon a Galera,” in Macau was voted third.
There are so many great reasons to travel to Asia, specifically Singapore. Singapore has been featured in earlier blog posts. Knowing where the top restaurant is located, is just another great reason to visi. Might as well enjoy some Eastern culinary magic.

If you live in the UK, I’m sure you’ve seen some of the famous British, Historical Sites.
There is a new guide, released by the AA that list Britains 25 Unesco World Heritage Sites, and the most important heritage locations in Britain.
If you plan to travel to England, this would be a great resource and tourist guide. The historians among you may find this to be the dream tourist book.
