Legoland Theme Park.

Have we all gone Legoland crazy?  First I read about a new Legoland Theme Park opening in Florida, in October 2011.  Then I read about that a new Legoland Discovery Centre in Tokyo, Japan, due to open next June 2012.

The Legoland Theme Park in the UK, is located in Winsor (yes, as in Winsor Castle).  The attraction is aimed at children under 12 years.  Personally, I think theme parks are interesting for all ages.  Mostly a fun day out can be had by all.  I don’t think I’ve actually been to Legoland in Winsor, I should go!

I guess if I were going to put a new theme park anywhere.  Florida would be one of my first choices.  With the Disney attractions already stable. Who knows, Florida could soon become the theme park capital of the World – if it isn’t already.

The Florida Legoland theme park location will spread across 150 acres.  And, much like the one we have here in the UK.  It will feature many Legoland miniture towns and famous places.  Plus family shows, and rides.  Of course it will – it’s a theme park.

The Tokyo Legoland Discovery Center location will be at the Decks Tokyo Beach Mall, Japan.  It is due to open next June 2012, and include attractions such as miniland, Lego Factory, rides, Lego Studios with 4D cinema experience and much more.   Wouldn’t it be nice if some of the money generated from the theme park was donated to the Japanese Relief Fund by the Merlin Entertainment Group?

By the way, the same Entertainment Group, (Merlin Entertainment) plan to build a temporary Madame Tussauds, also at the Ecks Tokyo Beach Mall.  I like visiting Madame Tussauds, although I haven’t been in recent years.  I generally only go when I have visitors over for a holiday.  It’s a good tourist spot.

The soon to be available attractions is great news for all theme park lovers, especially the kids.  There’s nothing like a great day out.  And if you can take the kids along, hear the excitement in their voices and see their smiling faces. all the better!

There are currently four Legoland Theme Parks around the World.  Located in the California, USA, Denmark, Germany and the UK.  The two new theme parks will bring the total to six.

Why not go even further and enjoy a funfilled Legoland Holiday.  Family-friendly local attractions, with tons of Theme Park activities.  Or  luxurious hotels with swimming pools and spas.

New Art Museum In Malaga.

A new Art Museum in Malaga is set to be a treat for all art lovers. Called , the “Carmen Thyssen Bornemisza Museum” has been re-opened to the public following much needed renovations.

I loved Malaga when I went on holiday in 1992. Almost 20 years ago, (yikes).  It was wonderfully hot, friendly and enjoyable.  I didn’t actually do the culture tour, so perhaps next time I will.  With the renovation of Malaga’s new art museum.  I haven’t really got an excuse not to visit again.  Next time I will take the time to enjoy some of the wonderful art – as well as the beaches.  What can I tell you, I love the Sun!

Malaga’s New Art Museum Showings.

It will be showcasing many unique pieces of art.  Including Van Gogh’s 19th Century painting the “Le Moulin de la Galette”, (You know the Windmill in Paris).  And other works by Francisco Zurbaran’s.  It will also be showcasting masterpieces as far back as the 13th Century.  As well as the more modern Spanish painters such as Joan Mirò, Joaquin Sorolla, and of course Picasso.

Taking a couple years to complete the renovations, at a cost of over 10 million Euros.  It sounds like the New Art Museum in Malaga has pulled out all the stops.  Gathering a fine collection of art at the Carmen Thyssen Bornemisza Museum, located in the Villalon Palace.

Visitors To Orlando.

It’s no big suprise to hear that Orlando is one of the most popular US States.  What might suprise you is that visitors to Orlando are the highest of any other US State.  Orlando is popular for many reasons. The climate, the beaches and of course Disneyworld.

More Than 50 Million Visitors To Orlando.

When the Tourist Board, tallied up the number of visitors to Orlando, they released the figures.  It was a total of international and US visitors, that contributed to the more than 50 million.

The most famous theme park in Orlando is Disneyworld. Other attractions like Magic Kingdom theme park, Disney’s Hollywood Studios.  Disney’s Animal Kingdom is an animal theme park and the Epicot is another.  The climate, and beaches and good value for money doesn’t hurt either.  There’s no doubt all these major family attractions helped boost the number of visitors to Orlando, every year.

I’ve yet to experience Disneyworld, but hope that I will do so in the next year or so.  I can say, that everyone I know who has been to Disneyworld.  Raves about just how great it is, and how much there is to see.  All of them agreeing that they didn’t have time to see everything.

If you plan to add to the 50 million visitors to Orlando. Perhaps this Summer a fun family holiday would be a good choice.

New Entertainment In Las Vegas.

If you plan to Visit the USA anytime soon.  There is lots of new entertainment in Las Vegas this Summer.

Caesars Palace is hosting a new show which consists of venues and canival tents in their Roman plaza.  You can enjoy entertainment such as a beer garden, a secret speakeasy, drinking games.  (surely for the adults).

The Mandalay Place has recently opened an official Guinness store.  Which I am understand is the very first of its kind in the USA.  I think I read that it opened on St Patrick’s Day, which makes sense.

Other New Entertainment in Las Vegas.

There is live music from the Grammy award-winning singing artist, Gladys Knight.  Ms Knight is headlining a special show at the Tropicana.  She has a live band and dancers and performs her classics as well as new material. The most well known of all entertainment past times in Las Vegas.  Is of course the casinos and the gambling.  The Poker tables, Roulette, Slot Machines, Keno (whatever that games is).  It never stops, you can gamble at 4:00am in the morning or 11:00pm at night.  That’s Entertainment!

I have friends who traditionally visit Las Vegas every year.  I’m beginning to catch on why, there is not shortage of things to do.  Plus there is always a selection of new entertainment in Las Vegas to choose from.

Las Vegas is such an entertaining tourist spot.  It joins the ranks of destinations, you can visit anytime of the year.  And still have a great time enjoying shows, casinos, music shopping and more.

Low Cost Singapore Flights.

Singapore Airlines have announced that it will be introducing low cost Singapore flights within the next year. Due to the competition and customer demand for low cost airfares.  Singapore Airlines will be providing this service to cater for a wider group of travelers.

The low cost Singapore flights service will provide long-haul and medium-haul flights to various destinations in South East Asia.  Departing slightly from the usually high quality service Singapore Airlines are known for.  The new service will be a no-frills low cost singapore flights.

Greater Access For More People.
