Royal Ascot Ladies Day Visit Continued

Royal Ascot Ladies Day Visit Continued.

…continued from previous page.

Food Available in the Windsor Enclosure.

The food area was spacious and busy and the food was quite simple but tasty. You had the choice of the traditional fish and chips dish. Burger and chips, roast lamb baps, onion rings and other side dishes. The portions were large, so there wasn’t much chance of feeling hungry too quickly. Most of main dishes were around the same price; 9.50, which I thought was pretty good considering the event.

The Races.

Despite the day at Royal Ascot being quite a long one. There are only six races that take place. The first known as the Norfolk Stakes started at 2:30pm, the last race called King George V Stakes ran at 5:35pm, with the famous Gold Cup, which ran at 4:20. I forgot to check my tickets, but I’m pretty sure I didn’t win a penny. Watching the races live was quite a treat, up until Ladies Day. I had only seen horse racing on the TV.

Final Race at Royal Ascot Ladies Day

Windsor Enclosure Live Entertainment.

The house band were brilliant! Entertaining the crowd in between races with a great selection of Rock, Pop and Soul. The musicians and the singers were all very talented and great to listen to.

If you ever want to experience a day at the races , I can highly recommend Royal Ascot. Whether you visit for Ladies Day or for another race meet. It’s an excellent day out, and a wonder to see.Royal Ascot 2017 ticket are already on sale, so get yours early!
