One thing I think a lot of people forget to consider, is the importance of travel insurance when you’re NOT travelling abroad, but travel to a different County or State.  For example I’m in London, but if I wanted to travel to Scotland, I should still be looking into travel insurance for short trips within Country.

The same would apply to a US resident of New York City, travelling to Las Vegas.  It’s still the same County, the USA.  But it is a different State, and far enough away to be considered a vacation as my American friends would call it.
